Personal data protection
“Privacy is inviolable”
Due to the need to set boundaries to encroach on the privacy of the individual, the dominant policies of the liberal economy have become increasingly limited in recent decades to standards that protect human privacy.
Such norms derive most often from international agreements and the highest ranked legal principles. With its legislation, the Republic of Serbia has joined the countries that set the application of these rules at a high level.
In order to avoid causing non-pecuniary damage, as well as to impose various sanctions, clients in their business need advice on the legal manner of collecting and processing personal data. On the other hand, we represent and exercise the right to protection of entities whose rights in relation to personal data have been violated.
Services we provide in this area of law:
- Harmonization of operations in accordance with the GDPR and the Law on Personal Data Protection;
- Advising on how to collect and process personal data;
- Representation before the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection;
- Drafting of mandatory internal acts of the business entity related to the protection of personal data;
- The process of transferring protected personal data abroad;
- Representing clients in case of liability for violation of the right to protection of personal data;
